I’m a freelance software engineering team lead, mentor and process improvement coach, currently based in Southampton.
I have over thirty years of professional experience, over twenty of those working freelance as a software engineer at every level from developer to software engineering manager, mostly on projects in large multinational companies.
I’ve gradually expanded my remit over the years to include mentoring, training and coaching teams. I prefer to work embedded in a team so that I can better understand how they work, which enables me to target potential improvements without disrupting the good aspects of how they are already working.
